It you my two This why kill is. Lidly. I will tot a Pagage. I will rip him apart. I'll piss now. Where two N it starring Scott Chaplin and Robert Carpt. O, Wlcome everybody to Wrestle Roast. No, it's not Wrestle Roast. Wow Dude, it's such a habit. You don't understand. I don't say the name out loud Welcome to Working stiff. a title that Dan gave us and then left a week later Welcome, Austan. I'm your host, Scott Chaplin Robert is currently in Paris right now And but we got someone much better than Robert. I'm here with Dominic D Angelo, Dom the Don. It's good to be here, Scott In Italian, it's like D because you got that you got that little thing above it, right? Like D Angelo. So I got it's DE. I don't have an apostrophe. Oh, you don't got the apostrophe. No I'm not like Tony. I have we have the E in between it. so Okay. Well, I mean, that just sounds like some Ellis Island finagling. L you've heard stories of when you go to Ellis Island, they're like, nah, just make your name different, you know. You know like get an apostrophe or something or get rid of the apostrophe. put something because the apostrophe is, you know, I'm not Italian at all. Everyone thinks I'm Italian because I'm from Jersey, but D' Angelo is that like of Angela? Like you know how Irish? it's like O'Brien means of Barrian. O'Leary means of Leary. Yeah. It does. So my my name's pretty wild actually. It's like super religious. So it's of the Angels And then we love it, bro. And then my first name, Dominic is like belonging to God So whammy. Yeah, yeah. Oh, that's perfect. It's pretty wild. I don't know too many Doms. It's you Uh Mystero and then the donke, that's it Beloise, Don Beloise. That's it. That's all, Don Teloise, you're right G say her name anyway What a week of wrestling. I don't know if you consumed all of it I sure didn't, but uh I did get wind of a lot of it. It was a lot of wrestlings, S Well, dude, there was so much wrestling and then and I don't know where to go with this because some people get mad when we do spoilers on the show. and And I'm like, dude, you're listening to a wresting podcast And Monday night, they filmed raaw and SmackDown together whichich hasn't happened in a fucking minute. Like when I was in high school, that's what they were doing the super shows were like going crazy when I was in high school. So this would happen a lot for me and I mean, dude, honestly, it was a super show during that CM punk u Pipe bon And it's kind of why it It wasn't as impactful for me. becausecause if you read results, they were like going on an Australia tour right after And if you read results, SMpunk cut the pipe bomb, but then they filmed an episode right after where John Cena is like, reinstate CM punk or whatever. It's like I don't know if you remember that. No, I don't. That actually that's kind of funny because I remember obviously I remember the pipe bomb But like, Those years where they would just like do those extreme I mean, now it's like three hours two, but it felt like a real marathon trying to go through those But yeah, when you're stacking them on top of that like that, you take away a lot of the allure of what's going on, especially if you're trying to quote unquote go off script with punk in his pipe bomb at that time. It Right. And I know actually maybe I'll listen to it. shhout out to Mike Lwren. He has a podcast nerd of Mouth and this week It's about the punk pipe. It's like summer of punk. And then in quotations, it's like how I How I learn like how I loved wrestling for three weeks And because that's really what it was. It was like three weeks of good shake and then it immediately sucked, you know, But I remember I remember when he returned with cult of personality You know, they had like that tournament and it was Ray Mysteria oververs John Cena. who's going to be the new champion. And then John Sen is champ and immediately, they kick in with cult of personality And I remember at the time, I'm like, I think this sucks. L I think this song's I lied the song. I didn't like it for him. I'm like, this is dumb It doesn't feel cool at all. No, I was on in the same boat too because Yeah, it felt like very indie show. I remember I was like, well, we're playing culta personersonality. likeike this shit sucks. Yeah. Yeah. and like Kill Switch Engage was such a good tune to have with that that Dude it was so good. Yeah. And now look, I mean, now it's synonymous with punk and I love it and you know, once it kicks in, I'm like, oh my god, you know Look in my eyes, what do you see? Let's go. you know, culture personality, I'm going crazy. but I definitely remember that return. I was like This is like This ain't it. This was It was not it. It was not a banger And u And and you know, al I'm kind of, you know, we're talking about punk I You've heard punk is returning next week on SmackDown, right? You've heard that? Yeah, they're promoting it for they lightly promoted it, didn't they or something? Oh, I don't even know if if they forot did I don't know. I, but I did hear that he is coming back on SmackDown. like, yeah, I don't know. Right. And then and then and then there was the rumor that he was like He was pitching to return on Raw because Rob in a few days is going to be in Chicago So he's like, why not I return in Chicago And now this is where it gets weird and I don't know what to say Did you read SmackDown Spoilers So I had them up and I was going to read them in time and kind of figure out exactly what went down. Now I will say I had a Marcus, my brother, he was a backstage extra this past week on Rw And so he got he kind of got in tune with what was going on. He actually, he told me that He rehearsed the spot Dom where Dom and JD McDongh got the briefcase full of powder. Right. thans the guinea pig for that apparently. So Oh, that's hilarious. Yeah, yeah. so it's pretty c. they're doing they're doing stuff like that with them too. They're like using them the whole day if things. Yeah, basically, right? I love that. ye. Yeah U, So no, I pulled up the Smackown spoilers Um, but the I'm sure you read into what exactly happened went down I mean, look, would my cousin went. they filmed in Atlantic City Jer Um And my cousin went and I saw him yesterday actually and we talked about it. Like I don't need to look, like there's a really cool match on this show, you know I would go oh, I really want to see that. And he mentioned it yesterday when I saw him like I don't need to spoil anything like that, but is a major thing that happens on SmackDown. And it's twenty twenty six and this is a wrestling podcast and I I don't know what to do. Now on the Patreon, I talked about it. and so maybe it's just like, hey, you go to the Patreon But Man they're it's just like AW. They are really whether it's, hey, we're trying to get viewers this summer O if it's just like wild booking and hey, you're going get chaos. and the summer storyline is just chaos But it's like What they did is pretty bold and kind of stupid I'm reading it now and I agree with you. Yeah, man. I mean hereere's what we'll do. If you don't want spoilers, skip ahead a minute and we'll talk really fast right now. But in three to one spoilers. Ready? three two one Cody Rhodes and Jay Usso. fight each other for for a shot at the championship that Samy Zing just won And Cody wins and the match, it's not at Summer sllam. It's on a raw this coming week And I feel like Punk is going to return. I don't know what he's going to do if he's going to screw someone over or it's going to be after the match. But man, if Cody wins on Monday, People are going to be flipping out They are not going to be happy That's going to be an incance too where yeah, the crowd turns on Cody and then Sammy will be almost like in an underdog. People will be like, oh, you have over Samy. That's just kind of like the The gre Yeah. Well, right. And it's also like, wait, what The storyline is Sammy is the good guy. if you're making him fight on raw with like no notice it's MJF shit, you know? Yeah. It's the things they do MJF, but it's like, hey, you're a jerk and so you get you you have to deal with this, you know? This is how we stick it to you Wh's sticking it to Samy? It's fucking weird, man. We aren't booking It's a very weird booking. Yeah, that's yeah. and why even put the title on same if you're going to do that anywways? like and you're getting Well, that's why I think that's why I think he might win and Maybe there's a punkenness to it all. I don't know Yeah. Did you see and this isn't a spoiler at all Did you see the video of Paul ofk? you know, he always like hugs the guy after they they come through the curtains, you know, when they become champion And there's a video of a fucking Paul don it and he seems so uninterested in the fact that Sammy is champion. That's too. Oh, he seems so and it sucks because you know, Sammy to me is like Theses are mixed volely type Yeah, I mean, dude, Sammy can go. Sammy can tell stories. Sammy, you make him serious, you make him funny, you make him anything. He's going to do it And he so deserves a championship, but it is funny to watch triple H like kind of you know, squint a little like ah, all right, let's Let's hope this ends soon becauseuse I'm I mean, there's no way I would hope Sammy goes toill suummer sllam There's no way he wins a suummerlam. And again, that's not a knock on him. I think some of my favorite talent are are these transitional types. It's like, hey, that's your role and know that re you're better than everybody. and that's kind of why it's your role It was him, it was Foley. There was someone else that was like transitional where I'm like, Wait, I actually I really like you Was it didnn't Eddie only hold the title for like a month or something? Eddie G? Oh, sure. yeah. I mean, yeah And even dude, I remember Benois w in that w in that championship at Mania and then he lost it at suummer sllamor, you know, Yeah Mm And and it felt right. I remember going like, oh, that kind of sucks for Benoib, but in watching it, it's like It felt like the crowning, but he was like the youngest champion at the time or some shit or It was like it felt so, so great and Randy was so on fire because he was working with like Fully right before and the leegend killer shit and Yeah. But anyway, did you did you watch u, did you watch Night of Champions? No, I did not check it out. I u was out. I couldn't do it. I coulde good for you. Yeah. It was like in the middle of the day. Yeah, right. I was not I was not around to watch it But overall like You think the results were good like Oafemi getting the king of the ring, which made sense I thought. but then like u The next night on Raw we had a different kind of story going on with all that too Right. And and you know, I sort of explained on the Patreon. It's like I liked Robert's idea of Oba fights both knights U Night one against Lesnar and night two against Roman Yeah And again, we were saying that because we've been watching a King of the Ring tournament where the If you win, you get to fight for the championship at suumersing. We hand Like look Now that I see everything that's happening, which if no one's paying attention and didn't see what's happening, Oba won the King of the Ring But then Lesnar tacked him on raw And now he is going to push back his championship match and he is going to fight Brock Lesn or Summerersland in a helllen a cell Right. That's a very cool match. And then later on on Raw, you see that it's Seth and Roman and I go, o If Seth didn't get hurt, that was going to be the mania match and so These are great matches. My issue is the last month I've been told There's going to be a King of the ring and and the winner fights the champion at Soners slam. And so I just go like They know they messed up booking Like you don't do that and then make this pivot. They're literally making up shit as they go And so sometimes there's like major continuity errors or just like Dude again, it's like if they knew this was what they were going to do a week, you know a month ago, they would have never had Oba in the tournament Why have Oba win a tournament that now is irrelevant Right And so it's just it's just like shoot booking. I don't care, but it's like very obvious that's what it is Well, let me ask you this That indeed was going to be the match at Mania, Seth versus Roman. That means punk versus Roman was off the table. and that was like the the show stealer basically, like for a lot of p. Oh, gosh, yeah. Oh yeah, Oh yeah. So the last few years, man. Yeah Right. And now you you kind of put this there and you can build to it still I just is just a guy that's just there and I didn't even think since he's turned He turned on the shield, he really hasn't been able to find himself as a good character besides the chicken shit heel when he started off. You know, right? I thought I thought his prom on Rw was one of his best promos because he just talked He wasn't screaming, he wasn't trying to be like Again, that heal that's a little too annoying and not in an effective way. Yeah where right now, it's like He's the, you know, he is a face. He's the face in the storyline. And I really dude anyt timee you you call back to the shield, it's just going to work because the shield work, man. the shield was a A really cool moment and it really had no business making sense coming out through the crowd and attacking But CM punk and during like a Ryback feud or some shit and you wearing swWat gear and and Again, they're not, you know, the NWO, DX theseese were established guys who then formed a faction. And that's intimidating and that's crazy to see These were unknowns who when they showed up, they felt like the NWO a little bit. Absolutely because you didn't know what their was or what they were going. It was Yeah, man. that shit was too too sweet if we're talking NW like Man, the early and not just that, then they had killer matches, right? So Ambros was doing his thing. Ambse said just like you know, Sem punk was giving like like I think Sam punk had a match with him Punk out a match with Roblins too before they even came to the main roster. L Oh, that's what it was. SMamppunk posted a picture of Ambrose like walking out at a house show. And he was like, this is our secret weapon. And then he was like kind of feuding with Boly right before he got signed and that was cool. And it was like these stamps of approval from people we trust And it was like, Ohh Ambrose is going to be the guy, you know, likeike there's something Roddy Piper about this dude And then you saw Seth Rollins and he's fucking bouncing out of the ring and and people with this and that and Roman was so He was so green, but it didn't matter because he was only in there for like a minute to murder a guy That was worked. Yeah. Dude those Wyatt matches and yeah, there was a match with like them versus Kaine and so like There was always these trios matches that were so fucking good And I don't think people remember necessarily like, yeah, when you started off the shield Roman was a pretty hot act because they they used him in the right manner. It wasn't that he was, you know hammered over our heads constantly. He was like to what your point was saying, like he would come in spepear somebody and then that that was kind of it. He was kind of like the hot. he was like almost in that bron breaker role where it was getting pretty hot and Right. I think a lot of people kind of forget about that, but you know, ye. no, I remember the whole thing with the Ambrose ing with Foley and they were teasing a match like potentially between them and then that kind of fell through And like Ambrose was the guy like moving into that. And then yeah, seteth added to it with his F but this have been his different style that, you know, Ambrose didn't have or Roman didn't have So the shield was just like, yeah, perfection in a box in a lot of ways that WE didn't hadn't been able to harness in years, obviously. So Oh for sure. Oh yeah. I mean and and the prom on role and why it's so good is is, you know, he's ackled you know he didn't acknowledge Moxley at all, but set this telling Rom and like we came in and we like We brought in a whole new generation of people, and they really did. It was the start of something new. For that company and it was Vince at the time to pick three people and go, these are the guys That's major. That rarely happened with ms Right And even to Ambrose's extent, Vince had a lot of confidence in all three of those guys like P Oh Yeah to do what it was, you know. and Uh ultimately Ambrose' trajectory wasn't great. like it didn't pan out as great obviously in WE, but u you know, with Seth and Roman. I think Roman obviously benefited the most and Seth I just I feel like he's just been in character purgatory. and like to your point You know, him cutting a promo and delivering it just straight lace. That's his best the best version of himself is kind of doing it that way instead of Yeah. So I' we're L look, we're getting it. I mean, Summer sllam, it'sephrus Roman. How do you feel about that Be I like them I think I don't think it's been I don't think it's consistent with any story they've been telling the last year But I like it I don't mind it. I think I would have liked Doba versus Roman better though. You know I just because I We were ready, man And we look at, you know, throughout these, you know, fifteen past years, Seth and Roman have been fixtures onWD forever. So it's just like I don't want to compare it to Cena and Orton, but like there is some you know, similarities to it just because they've been on our television for so long. So it's just like, yeah, they have a rival and history with one another. We're ready to what you're saying what we were saying with the shield. We're ready for new people to kind of get in and Take the front take the front like seat basically. Oh yeah, that's the Oa of it all Yeah. And so there's the Oa going Oba going up against Roman would really define that, especially if you on your second biggest arguably second or third biggest show of the year Sumersland. So U I Well, right, but are they now I didn't even check if they're doing a wrestle Palooza this year But last year, they really wanted Wrestsele Palooa to work. It was the first ESPN U, you know, show or whatever They had like Lesnar fighting Bina. they wanted this shit to be a top four payer view and now a top five, I guess, right? But It didn't work out. Do you where Okaykay. so Oa He's not fighting for the championship at Sumerslam. Where do you think he kind of cashes that in? now it's like almost a cash in, right? He can say, hey, next week on Ra, I want to fight you And it seems like that's allowed When does he take it? you can't wait till WrestleMania becausecause also wrestleMania is in Saudi Arabia and to wait till WrestleMania, you like You really got to set up Oba for some feuds where why aren't you going for the championship? you know? Like people got to kill his family. othertherwise, why are you not going for the championship Yeah, I don't I don't think there's no way it lasts that long, I? You know, I'd almost want to do the bandaid feel where it's like you have something happen between Seth and Roman, whether Roman retains or or Seth wins and then you have Ooba just coming in and is asked the next night on raw. I would do it that quick. U Yeah, I think we need I think we need shop moments. Yeah I think AW is going to try to pull off some shock moments and I don't think we're going to agree with all of them. But yeah, I need dude, this summer has been so lame with the storylines.'s been brutal. It's been brutal. Well dude, and half of our summer is watching a a King of the Ring tournament that now doesn't matter doesnn't matter. He's pushing it back. It's like It's just a little disrespectful to the viewer. Now. Again, like I said, Brock for Soba and Helen aell, thats that looks good. That looks really good That's like, and I said it on patreon, that is some video game shit, dude, you know? Yeah. absolutely. That is And look, I don't even think they they like barely left the ring the first two manes. Both matches were like I think both matches, if you add them up, they're not even twenty minutes, you know? It was like eight minutes and seven minutes or something And so I go, what are you going to do in the cell that's worthwhile? But This is Brock's retirement and you got to remember, this is his homeown Very it's just interesting, very interesting because I don't know what they're going to do That's going to make our jaws drop And obviously, Oba needs to win You wouldd be crazy to I have a now do you think this is going to be Brock's last match then? anything think he's done Yeah, yeah. I mean No it's so weird with him because he feels like he's been retired since like eight or something, you know, I'd have to like go back. And what I mean is he really just comes out and has like a five minute match, you know, he doesn't actually do anything crazy So how do you, how do you retire when you know like even if it's two years from now, three years from now? You can walk in and make some crazy money just by like doing three moves, you know? Yeah And its lies Brock is on another level of athleticism. so it's like he's not I would not imagine the type of reed to kind of lose it, you know, like fall off a cliff when it comes to like his to. you know? Oh yeah. No, he's explosive. He's like yeah, it's I'm just saying like, Some guys, I understand why they need to retire. It's honestly like the workhorses where they got to go, Hey, look, I clearly can't give you what I was to you And I'm not going to make you watch that. But someone like Brock, why would you ever retire? You walk out, you fucking F five a guy, you suplex in ten times and then you leave and you make a million bucks. Yeah, I kind of think that's why they're not saying Brock is retiring because he's also aware like Dude, I make too much money for doing nothing You ight He makes too much money for doing nothing. How why would you ever retire? You know, seen is a different thing. it's like He's in Hollywood. He also like kind of needs to let let that industry, the movie industry know like Hey, I'm done with that, you know, and they go, o, okay, we're going to take you more seriously. Like there's like political reasason Cena would retire. and also Cena has like matches, you know And he really can't do that at Insurance isn't one size fits all. Wh cares, Brown? Who cares Let me do this about Sena real quick Uh have you noticed he's been on the like convention the comic book convention kind of route. He's been I have. I was actually surprised. There's like something in my area and it was advertised to me on Instagram and it was like, meeet John Sen and. I'm like What Yeah. What? Like you don't get to meet Chris Evans, you know, you don't get to meet Pace These people who play superheroes, Yeah, I found that very interesting I did too. and So I think he's gonna, I mean I'm assuming he's going to continue being in shit in movies? like that's what I would think like because I would think if you're done with WWE like, you know, from an intering perspective, it makes sense. But then wouldn't you just really try to preserve your Hollywood Aa, so to speak, by maybe not doing that right now. Like I would if I were him, I wouldd have maybe thought about long term effects of Hey, where's your star power going to be, you know, when it comes to but who knows about the landscape of Hollywood at this juncture anywwaysay? So I guess Yeah And that's super true. and u Yeah, man, it must be horrifying for a lot of these people who are in that business because they don't they don't know what's coming next year Um Yeah like ood again, even that the Sena tournament, they have not talked about it since because becausecause they know it was like a bunch of Mumbo jumbo. It was like, dude, it made no sense. And you could even see John like talking it out and his tongue was getting confused. Like, wait what what are we saying everybody? And they just squashed it. and I think it'll come back But even seeing something like that, I really and I'm rooting for John Sena. I think he's the fucking, you know, he's a hustler, he's the dude Let him have any career he wants, even though I just You know, what sucks is like The rock got in and then And now Hollywood's over. you know, like there's no more Hollywood celebrities. It feels weird Yeah. And And so yes, Sena might have to mix it up a little because it is a different landscape Right, rightight. No, it is it is kind of telling of where society lands at and Yeah The lost of all lure of celebrities in today's world too. So Um, yeah. Yeah, I know It'll be interesting this whole scene of fucking tournament. it seems like, hey, let's get seen. We have seen involved. let's incorporate a tournament like we do with some of the other leegends But we don't have a direction for it, necessarily. That's what it felt like Right. I think they really dug and and I liked it that that John Cena Farewell show where they had some NXT people right like Soluka Oa was on it Yeah. And you got to see like, oh, like and I think That's the vibe they're trying to create with this tournament, obviously, where it's like Oh, there is something about creating new stars and it's about passion, it's about whichich is so funny because, you know, John is not like a wrestler's wrestler And then but this tournament is very much like a vision that he never even necessarily pushed, you know, likeike I honestly Who did Sena put over in a big way ever in his run? It always just kind of felt like putting himself over And I understood because everyone kind of stunk at the time, but All I ever heard was like him, you know, kind of telling Vince like no, it's not going to be this dude, you know Now, we're not going with DBiasi Junior or whatever Yeah, no, Austin theory, like he was the one that he put over at Mania, but right That didn't turn out the way they wanted it to. So Um Yeahah, no, I can't really think of anybody off top my head of like some up and comer that he's been He really put over big time. I mean, Owens when Kein Owens debuted, like dude, that was huge. Yeah, I agree That was a good one. So Oh dude, I went I went out and bought that Owens shirt like immediately too. Yeah should up alone beat the fuckking have scen it, right? NXT back then like in that, you know, even though Owens and Zan were crossing over T B back then was such a hot hot, fun product Like I remember them going to the Philly at the Tower Theater there and like just the environment of NXT was so cool. And like it had such a and like so Kevin Owens Yeah he was primed to get push I think, but him working with Cena Gott really helped get it over even more. so put him in. Yeah That that was massive. if you're right. Well and even now and just because he is so you know, what he says goes kind of. We all respect Cena's opinion like called repost Mason Rook. And all of a sudden, it's like, oh shit we all love Mason Rug. and there's a reason to love him' fun Did you see the cornet?? I was gonna to bring that up. Cornet Jason Roook and fucking Paul Walter Hauser all getting in the mix with everything Right Yeah. and like Hauser misspelling Nick Bock, Winkle and then people going after Hauser for kind of throwing shade at Nick Bock Linkkele and stuff. I Yeah, I environment, Xes, Twitter, whatever. Oh right. Well, so Paul Walter Hauser, I've never met him. Mike and Dan They I think I did open mics with them. I think he was doing open mics for a while. likeike he was trying to do standu or something before I ever moved to the city So I think they know him and obviously' a You know, he's been in great movies, He's a great actor, but I've noticed, especially over the last like two months He really loves talking shit on Twitter. and or X, whatever, but it's like It's the type of shit talk that I'm like, arere you are you drinking? Like I don't But you know what I mean? I'm just like, youo, you, you're like going really hard and you're We're talking about wrestling, you know? And he gets like very fucking He gets in it, man. He gets messy about R on the internet. And I'm just like, bro, you Just go be happy, man. Like It is not worth typing this stuff on the internet, bro. He's like set himself up like for a while, he had an account, but he never would use it And I was like, that's a way to handle it too, especially if you're trying to like you're dipping your toes in the wrestling world and you're actually getting in the ring and doing that stuff.ike't what you Oh yeah, don't open yourself up for more, you know criticism and stuff like that kind. and keep that air of mystery about you in a certain way. But then you know, like to what you're saying, yeah, He's like digging, you know, his fucking ten toes deep in there with all the And again, even if you're making a point, it's like, bro, you're a grown ass man. There's a way to make a point where you're not taking the piss out of other people and stuff, you know, Right, right Yeah L like like the Nick Bachwinkkel post, you know, he he said something to the effect of And, you know, he stepped back he walked it back because he knew he messed up but it's like, bro you're grone But where he's saying like, You know, my kids and their friends will never they'll never know who bigick Nick Bo Wwinkle is and this and that and it's like There's a nice way to say that. Like dude I didn't know about Nick Bakwinkle. I don't know aboute WE never I grew up on WE documentaries, you know, They never mention fucking Nick Bockwinkle. And so I understand what he's saying, but there's a way to say it. again, you're an adult. You're aware that Nick Bakwinkle affected so much of the business and so many wrestlers that then went on to influence people. It's just like it's like a music conversation You just go like, really you're going you're going to shit on the Rolling Stones for why? for why It's just like it's just like empty headed shit And yeah, I'm just like bring up names that well, and then Cornett went after him and he shouldn't have. Dan Cornett went after like Yeah, So the Cornette Mason Rooks shit. is Let's see this. 'use I definitely snap the frot out of it Dude, he called He called Mason Rok Chaz bono. It's f It's friends and family this is Jim Cornet. It's friends and family who got free tickets watching Chaz bono endor oxygen deprivation Td blossom. You couldn't have parked Nick Bck Winkle's car, fuck off. That was to Paul Alter Hauser Yeah But because Mason Roook is involved, then Mason Roke said No, that's not wherever. he's aavy hold. No problem Oh You had friends and family there or whatever Oh Well, yeah, okay. alsoso this is crazy. Then Brian last wrote Oh God, like reposted Pa Walterhauser's Nick Barkwinkle thing. Yeah So public houses said My children and their generation will never know or care who Nick Bickle is or was doesn't diminish his legacy talent what he gave. It's just the truth, Jimmy, right? And It's like, all right, I mean you can make You know, like if you're like into movies, you could be like, hey, watch this old movie, you know? Yeah. Like like there's nothing more I hate than someone who's like, it's in black and white. I'm not watching that. You're like, you're crazy. But anyway, ye, then Brian L wrote, My children will be ignorant is a hell of an argument. And it's like, you're not ignorant if you don't know M Bcklin. So it's just both sides being too hard on each other and absolutely stupid But u But yeah, so then, you know, Jim Pernet made fun of Mason Roks saying the whole friends and families, you know It's all free tickets. Mason Rookke wrote back to Jim Cornett. He said, thanks, Jim. I'm so grateful all my friends and family from England wereend were in attendance last night You know, mocking Jim. And then Jim said I didn't mean your specific friends and family, you human water bed or there wouldn't have been enough people in the crowd to count to fifteen on their fingers It' like Why are we why are we at war over middle school bickerary? these gls are fighting out here. Yeah, it's just like my name was mentioned. I'm coming out swinging. It's so funny. ye, I don't know. honestly too. before Forbidden Door, I was like I pop on my YouTube popped Jimm Corordnet at previews Forbidd Door and I was like, I haven't listen to Coret in a while. I'm going to give it a try because I just needed something of background noise And I listen to it, dude Like I can get critical of AEW, but There is a certain type Oh fan base that does latch on to like major negativity on wrestling and like Cornet is just feeding them. It was just constant notothing was positive. notothing said was positive about the preview at all. And I'm I don't know how people can listen to that on a consistent basis because even just listen to it, I'm like, why do I have been ver wrestling. likeike what's the point? Be if it's this bad Why do I even have to care about it? And it's just like , you got to find a bright sponsor or you're just jerermp. Right. you're just just fucking trashing it to trashing. It's Right, right I don't know. And you know, I would listen like especially during the pandemic, I was doing like a delivery job and u And so just in the car all day, like I would listen to Kornet and Kornet's best stuff is and it's actually Melter's best stuff too It's they are historians. like they It's when they recall things that I like them. But when they're talking about current shit, I'm just like, a just Just remind us of a thing that happened that I never heard of. You know, tellell me a crazy story about you and four workers at a Wendy's, you know, like And it is funny to think about that too because Melter is so CW in that new modern style and stuff like that. So he gets way in the weeds with that and then corornetetsetss the polar opposite of that. And it's just like How much does either party help? The modern era of wrestling, I think, too in a lot of ways kind of weird to thinking in that regard about it Right. Yeah. I think there was a few years ago where it felt like his word mattered a little It might have like lit a fire under a few people's asses, but that's like that's all he's done recently per wrestling was like, hisiss soft enough guys that they have good matches Right. Yeah,'s that's basically been it for. so. Uh yeah. Did you did you watch a did you see D inight? I did see Dyamite? Yes. I did. Okay, did you see Forbidden door? I did not see forbidden door no Oo, all right yeah, I review Forbidden door on on the Patreon That shit was fun. That shit was fun, but I'll also say this. I think it went to like a little after one in the morning or something Oh I remember sitting there being like, Hey, it's Sunday and it's one AM right now Well, Well, because I was, you know, and you didn't see it so, but there's been a huge debate about the Osprey Serve match evenven friends I have who are like super into AW. I was surprised that they were like, everything was great Why did they do that in the main event? And what they mean by do that is Uh, you know, they started like no selling their finishers, you know, they tried to create like an epic moment type of thing. And I think some people were like, wait a second. why why all of a sudden do you guys have like superpowers? It's that thing that Dude, I kind of like it. They did it last year at the all in main event They do it most WrestleMania main events. They're like trying to sell you an emotional, you know, something more than wrestling, like where they're trying to tell a story That's I mean, everybody tells a story within the match, but like they were really like, okay, this is our Marvel movie You know, it was one of those things And so people were a little offended that offended is a dumb word. but that they kept going like like Swerve hits his finisher on Osprey and the deeath riders are like on the side of the ring, Moxley and all them. And Osprey like turns his head and then like gain, you know, hulks up because he like looks at them and it's like I'm going to fight through all of this. I'm a bad motherfucker and My offense of it because it is dude, especially up until the last like five minutes It might be match of the ear up until the last five minutes. They fuckking went for it. I believe But that But that last five minutes is like it's so egregious where I understand why some people fell off. I wish they took it a little slower. But at the same time, I'm like This this is actually like when people start fighting, this happens sometimes Like, you know, you punch a guy in the face and he screams in your face instead of acting like it hurts He like The way he expresses that it hurt is he like shouts and hulks up. L people hulk up in fights. That's a real thing, you know? It's ad pop Yeah. It's a Right. And so like when I'm watching this, I'm like, oh, this is adrenaline. This is like a man fighting for his life. This is like that move I'm going to clock you, you know And, and I get that because I've seen that happen in everything in all in all real sports You see someone hulk up and fucking push through some pain And so that's how I perceived it. But then you go online and they're like You guys shit the bed on the main event, blah blah, blah blah blah. U But yeah, it's clearly now will' offsray one. It's will offpray it all in Do after watching last night, who do you think? one, who do you think they're picking to fight Osprey because now it's, I mean And I think it' got to be Kenny. I think it's got to be Kenny. And like I know we talked about that two weeks ago or whatever. and I think you're that's the match to have is Ospre vers Kenny. you know, because I think to, you know, even to what we're saying with swerve and Osprey, like I my assumption was that was just a great match in general. I didn't know there was a negative criticism towards it. uh, like I think that's the ultimate like AW match for right now as we as we live and breathe because You know, Kenny Oega is such a fixture for AEW. has been put in that position to feel that way and then Osprey is on the rise to becoming the champion that we're kind of waiting on. So I think that's the ultimate match to have that all in in Wembley. I do take a few exceptions with what they're doing though necessarily to get there Oh my gosh. Yeah. I mean, last night's Dynamite was kind of I was kind of shocked with what they're doing All right, we were talking about Kenny versus MJ well, versus Osprey and if that is the movie Right Yeah, what do you think what do you think about it Well, dude, you know, Robert is so adamant that it has to be MJF and I've seen, you know, small pockets of people being like He is their top heel and therefore you know, the crowning of Osprey needs to be defeating the top heel And I'm like he's a heel. He's he's the champion currently. It's it's obviously going well, I think. I thought Darby's run was cool. And I thought MJF was the right guy to Darby But We already got MJF for softprite at Wemley And people like brush that off. Like Robert's like, o, why does that matter It matters. they've only done two other Weembley shows. Ticket sales aren't banging And I'm not saying they're going to skyrocket if you announce Omega versus Osprey. But at least it's not the same match these people have seen at Weembley already your hero is Osprey. I mean, if you're attending, your hero is Osprey Why would you want to see him fight a guy you saw him fight two years ago at the same venue O you could see him fight a guy who There are one in one in matches and both matches are considered like to of the best of this century. It's like You're going with Kenny versus Osprey. Now, what's kind of crazy is you know, they announced this paperview we've never had before, AW Rdemption. It's in Canada. Kenny's from Canada Redemption sounds like where Kenny would win And then on Dynamite last night, the consistent story throughout the show was Keny accept MJF's offer that, hey You can wrestle me next week, but if you lose, you could never and challenge for the championship again And you're like, u uh what the what the f fuck are we doing? And again, it' it really feels like u I mean, it's kind of what WWE is doing right now where it's just like, oh, we need viewers, we need viewers And ra hot shot. That's what it kind of feels like between the two companies I mean, next week and again, like spoiler alert, but yeah next week, we're getting two championship matches on Rw and on AW Dynamite. Right. Yeah. That's a little a little comical And I wonder if Tony is going to watch raw and see the result and then maybe He can't pivot. That's the thing, man. you can't challenge for the championship against shit is It's so it's so set in stone that it's yeah, right. It's like It makes it not fun because I go like, well, I want to see Challenge again U and also it's just kind of to me, it's confirming and again, this is for the championship next week MJerers Kenny Omega Kenny loses. he can never challenge again. I I mean, unless Kenny's having his retirement match against someone I don't know at all in Henny' winning next week He's got to win it, I think Yeah Yeah. And so I think and that's what's so interesting about redemption. It's like, well, then who's Kenny fighting in Canada Yeah, who's getting redemption if you have that Right, Right. I mean, it's literally redemption and it's in your like fucking You know, it's where you're from. I just Very strange, J strange, just strange booking But I'll tell you this, I'll be seated And same with Row like I'm going to watch that Yeah. I'm this I want to see who wins so they're They are doing what they need to do It just Everything feels like very rushed right now with WWE trying to get like the best Summer sllam card and AEW trying to get the best all in card. And it's like you guys have had a couple months to actually establish this shit, you know Yeah, there's no you shouldn't be like rushing to get all this done. You've had plenty of time to get things all set up and ready to go for both these payerviews or POEs Right. the thing the big thing I take I hate that whole stipulation where you're like okay, you can never challenge for the title again. because we saw what happened with Cody and then that was like, okay, that was a bad idea. You shouldn't do that. And then they did it with Hangman. Oh dude, I know and Hangman hasn't been back. you know Yeah like And so why Why even present that again? I get it maybe from a storyline standpoint, if MJF is an asshole, so he'll do something like that. but to it does not I it doesn't set anything up. It almost telegraphs what has to happen to what we're talking about. Well, right. I mean, I guess I guess the only thing you could say is I guess he MJF said you can never challenge me. So it's like if MJ me say I thought it was in general though. I thought it was over. Oh see, I don't know. I just assumed it was against him. And then it's like, oh, if he He loses it to someone else ever because you know, there's the Andrade storyline too. And yeah, I know you probably don't know this, but collision was last night and Big story on collision was Andrade is after MJF. He beat be Brankage, you know, a member of the Dunk Cows family. likeike he's He has he's a super baby face and he has his eyes set on the championship. And then you're like, what, but when? Yeah because Andradei deserves like a That's a legit storyline that I would like love to see in a paper view But it ain't happening at all in. So is it happening at redemption? but But then wait then Kenny would have to lose like it it's all very, very little messy. It is. And one thing too I'll say like if If they don't go if they go the route that It seems like they're heading, but hopefully they don't. I would be more with Robert on like having MJF versus Osprey. The only thing I would getet moxy out of the equation before all in happens because like you have Osprey aligned or part of the death riders at this point Why give the fans any reason to like root against Osprey at all in if you have Moxley' like looming over his shoulder. He's part of the de he's in this gray area of heal baby face because he's with the deeath riders. I think you have to get rid of that whole element for all in But what do you think about that? Well, I mean, I do agree unless part of the match is the story of Osprey getting rid of them You know, and like if they can do it in a match fine, you know, if they can tell that story where Deathriders are they there rooting for him, but He also realizes like No, you guys are evil and Kenny's good and I want to be good. like if they tell that story, I guess I'm fine with that. But you are right. like even u You know, Jay White returned at the PayPerview, which is like Great return, super talent, happappy to see him back And then on collision last night the whole storyline is that the dogs Finley and u C Connors, yeah.. They are kind of because also gave kid is a part of that So they are uniting with the death So the death riders and the dogs beat up Bang bang gang. n night And so that's a that's a heal stable, you know, like that's if if And also it makes it more complicated for Ospa. And I think that's kind of what they're going for is when Gate Kid finally returns, And now that David Finley and Clark are a part of the Death Riders and like this union of whatever Hilary H That's where I see Osprey going like, Hey, bro, what's this about? You know, whyy are we doing this? And then Hopefully we get to that story I mean, we've got two months to tell the story. It's at the end of August. Yeah. wouldould you like it to take place like redemption rather than all in though? like you know getting rid of the death riders or potent. Yeah, yeah, I mean, yeah, just because I don't know what's happening at redemption and again, what is You know, I h the name was that because Kenny was fighting MJF. so What's what's the red? I mean, the only thing I can think is plugged in a paper view where you could debut a few talents that left around WrestleMania, you know Yeah because now that ninety day is like It's definitely going to be up by then. So instead of debuting it all in, you might have Koi and Xavier debut at Reddemption I wouldn't hate that. No, I wouldn't hate that. PC Richard and Son, the company you can trust be the way to do it Any other big takeaways from dynamite that you thought were're significant. No man. I mean,, you know, it's always a solid show, a consistent show. I really I did like the backstage stuff. they did with Kenny then Osprey and MJF. I thought it was like genuinely well done I'll also say You know, and I'm not like a fan of of Kenny promos, but just like I'm not a fan of Seth Rollins P promos. I think they both did a good job this week becausecause they just like kind of You know Yeah And the worry on Kenny's face realizing like, Oh shit. I literally might not be able to challenge again. like that was It was all just good shit These guys are doing a good job. and and yeah, I mean Dude, at the end of the day, it's the summer and I'm definitely watching a Rw main event next week and I'm definitely watching a dynam mite main event next week. So They did their job. They definitely did their job. No, I agree with that too. And yeah, no, I love that opening segment between Osprey Kenny MJF Mox like it felt like all these the heavy hitters kind of all getting in the mix and there're They have a reason to be there and everything. And I thought that was A great way to launch thatiment. I'll say this too. Like when I tune into catch upp on dynamite in comparison to tuning into catch up on raw, I'm like I'm more invested in what's going on in AW right now than than WE because it just feels It feels more organic in certain ways, whereas, you know, I said this on the other show R Mar Nu enda that like raw feels homogenized, like super homogenized again. and ye there's no intrigue behind it, whereas Dynamite, it's like, okay, they're not doing things ultimately the way I would foresee them to happen. But like, I don't have a problem with what they're doing necessarily ultimately either. So Um Yeah, right. Yeah, Rough feels like, um Well especially also what the last few weeks, I mean, not this week, but We, you know It felt like there was like a month of Europe Europe Europe shows where You know, we were like watching it at noon. It felt very, it felt like we've been watching house shows for the last month and a half, you know? , that's a great way to put it.'affor it fils And I mean, I'm dude, I'm sure again, it's then there's the punk of it all where it's like I actually think Anytime I did like raaw since they've been to Netflix, it's been because of CM punk I And yeah. and he's he's just that good and You know, having that live factor with someone like Punk, it's always like intriguing and you never know what's going to happen. and And so I think yeah him returning will It'll do something for Rw that Raw has been lacking, which is like Yeah, man, I just feel like I've been watching a bunch of like fucking Penta matches, you know? That's And I like And I like Penta, but like it just feels like it's like a series of penta matches that C canan't even tell you who his opponent was. No, uh. It really all blends together and I understand there doing the uphill sledding of summerertime and all that stuff, but it's just I feel very disassociated with it in comparison to, you know, previous summers here. So Did you see like Eric Young left TNA? I did see that and apparently he's going to be like an agent, I guess for WE N Oh, that's great. Okay, I didn't know that. Yeah, I think a lot of those guys need to get hired by WWE and do whatever they're asked to do honestly. You know, I think Santana should be like me and Robert have talked about like an NXT champion. byy the end of the year, you know Dude, Yeah because if he, I mean, like that's where he's got to go. And I think he's somebody that they can really put their chips behind. I think yeah, starting off in NXT, but he's got that organic nature to him too, where you put him on the main roster. That's a fresh face you can immediately put into a big position and kind of one hundred percent, you know, make him feel like that big deal because he He doesn't point he punches sometimes with what he has to say or at least he conveys that on television. I think that's That's what you get with punk. That's what we get with punk. I think you can kind of get that in a different type of manner with Santana too. So Yeah, I agree. I think he's like I'm surprised that they haven't ofed them up earlier Yeah. I mean it's like he is the star of TNA Right. Yeah It's Again, TNA, it's just like you see these guys leaving and sometimes not on the best terms and it's just like what is going on over there? Aain Well, right? Well yeah, because it's like, who are you going to use? Who are we using Right. Yeah, who you bringing in that you have, I mean, Uha Nation, I think is awesome. You're bringing, you know, him in R great. but I mean Oh also and and these are, you know, you would go, oh, this would be fun in TNA for a week, but it's actually much better than going to the WWE. But Cass left AW Yeah and the rumor is yeah, him and him and Ezo are heading to WWE. I I love that I just do They still look exactly the same as they did when they left. Y. They're both very entertaining go for it. Man, bigig Bill and AW was so good and they really They really partart of it is dropping the ball and part of it is I think Tony's aware of who's going to leave when their contracts up, you know? Yeah. And man, yeah, like Big castle he needed was kind of needed AW to show WWE like, yo look, it was like his audition to come back becausecause big casts look like a million bucks in AW And so it's like, oh, yeah, we're hiring this guy and Ezo' always on fire in terms of promos. So Trump on and if they How would I mean, look you could put them in NXT and that's a blast. That's like obviously very fun But I really think people are underestimating How how much we really enjoyed them, dude We were repeating like all of their lines as they cut their prromos. I think it would be like a disservice if you don't have them show up on a roll or smackown Yes, it definitely would be. I think and what whichever show, I would say put them on raw becauseuse you got I mean, it feels like Danne Hausen's more a part of SmackDown than Bright Bright now So and not to ultimately like make him a huge comedy. they're just a different type that you can when you have a big cast in there, like he can be a credible wrestler and a fighter in there and stuff like that. So it'll be a different mix, but obviously bringing the comedic element with Ezo and the tandem of them together on Rw, I think That would be the way to handle them in the best position att least put them on raw and find a program to put them in that's captiving enough Right. Well and, you know, it's it's kind of funny because they're so different and maybe they debut is like Okay, so AW is obviously signing the new day. rightight? Yeah Yeah. to have Ezone cast return on the tag team scene when new day is showing up in AW is funny because I mean, dude, I don't know what the tag team scene is like on raw I literally can't tell you. Did you too hear about the reports about like conflicted opinions on W should do with division Moving forward They should split them up or if they should There's well right? Well, well o dude, that was like that was probably like the biggest dud of um of Night of Champions. and then and then you realize, oh, it's because Seth is fighting Roman, but Seth beating Braon in a cage match was like At least when it happened live, everyone's like, what are we what? Why is Ron losing? What are we doing? Yeah it's clearly, o, Ceth is going on to do his own thing. Yeah, I think they need to split up, man. I mean, Logan is hurt So what is even the vision? Bron hanging out with Austin Theory? like Yeah You know,, oh and then Bronson returns. likeike I do like Bronson and Bron. I like that Yeah, that ain't bad That ain't bad Yeah, I kind of I'm more leaning towards split them up And I think that the thought process is is keeping Hayman with Braon in the grand scheme of it all. But I mean, if you wanted to create something different Make Logan Paul lead a different kind of faction. and I think you get a lot of heat by him even if he's hurt Like just walking out with a couple of guys that Be the mouthpiece. Yeah, Be in the mouthpiece. and then once he gets healthy, there you go. have somethingomet different that is You know branch off of the vision that I would be against. Well I mean, the other worry is like, o, poor poor Austin theory because if you split up the vision, what you're really doing is You're having Bron Baker Murder Austin theory on television And then it just feels like the death of Austin Bary because we're Unless yeah, unless he's a part of a Logan Paul group He's kind of toast, you know? Yeah, yeah You know, he'd be somebody too that I would be like if I were W I have nothing of against Aust in theory. I do like him. And like, but I think it would be best for both parties if they kind of moved on. like Austin go somewhere else and to your point, like what we said about Cast, maybe you can do something the same take a similar route that he did where he's like, reestablishing himself somewhere else and then you can always come back. but U Yeah, I don't know. yeah, I don't know where you'd put theory in this whole mix Yeah, he's an interesting one. you, honestly, like There it's not the same, but even like a Finn Ballar where I go like, oh, this has never really worked out in WWE in the way I thought it was going to. Right No. My really I thought F Ballower was going to be the next scena for some reason. you know? Yeah And it was just not even kind of that, not even a little No And I loved him when he debuted in NXT and he was feing with like Kenta down there and then, you know, putting them on the main rost. was like, all right, let's get to cooking on this stuff. And I know the injury hampered him a little bit when he won the championship, but u Yeah, it was just like he's been great in the rules that he's had to play, but those are not the rules I wanted him to play either at the same time. you know. Right. Oh one hundred percent, Yeah Um What do you think Eira Valkyia is like in her first kind of heelish promo that she cut Wait, when the fuck was this? This is on wrong Tabing on I guess I am going. Oh so I didn't watch this segment. I'm so bad at watching women's wrestling Men. I apologize to everybody ever listening. Oh you're going I I did like the turn. I like the turn. Yeah, I did too. I did too Yeah, for sure. I will say I want I want Bailey to leave WW But u But yeah, it was a legit turn. So what? didid Lyra kill it or no So I think she set a good groundwork for maybe what could happen. Like her her look was a little bit more disheveled. so it's like almost like she's dipping into a bit of madness and stuff. I would love it if they kind of took like a black swan route with her and all that kind of thing, but u Yeah, I thought it was a good kind of Moving forward, I want to see more of it and like them kind of hype it up a little bit more and amp it up more forward. Ultimately, like I love the turn. I thought it was a good thing to do, but Yeah, I'm with you too on Bailey though. I think she would be great going to AW, you know Just something Yeah, it's just something different. I mean You know,'s there's that part of me that's like Yeah, she'd also be set for life in WWA like u I think they'll pay her forever to, you know, be an agent, be whatever And you always got to be smart about that. And so maybe that's why she'll stay forever. You know, it's like It's like Sam Punk likes five people and Bailey's one of them. That's kind of That's kind of amazing. I don't know why you would like lose that relationship 'causeuse I really do see punk being like u Like an HPK in the future. I think he's a lifer in WWA. I think he's gonna like own part of it someday Boy, that'd be great, you know. I think that would be, you know Because I think, oh, we didn't talk about this Last weeko on X, we were chatting about I said something about triple H Uh, with it being u What is it Not necessarily all his fault that's going on with like all at the top and you're like, Oh, that's not true. Oh yeah, I think I think TKO is a little bit of a scapegoat for them. and I think TKO is going to fucking yell at them for it You think so Yeah, dude, there's no way TKO is budting in too much. There's just I just I There's just no way I do not think the Pat McAfee thing was a TKO decision I think it was WWE and ESPN talking about what they could do Yeah., I don't think it' Now, I think they fucked up They thought it was going to work on paper. It almost works. Pat McAfee is like super popular amongst a certain demographic, you know Even though it is kind of crazy, I have not even like seen a thing of his since WrestleMania that for like for like a year, I saw him on every that might really messed him up, but Yeah, I think Yeah, I think it's like WEE and ESPN talking, but What I mean is at the end of the day, if TPO is doing anything, They're going like, hey, Paul Could you try to figure this out? and then Paul tries to figure it out and that's what we get. It's still Paul's fault I think that's pretty interesting. Yeah. I certainly do, you know, obviously he's the creative content officer. so it's I just mean they don't know anything about the product. There's no way they're actually going like, Hey, this guy and this guy need to do this. They don't know. They don't know what's going on And so they're asking like Paul like, hey, how can we get a u Hey, we need the rock. likeike I could see them saying dumbshit like that, you know. Yeah. Hey, we need a new rock and then they're like U, o okay. and then they try to come up with a new, you know, and then they go like, oh, here's Trick Williams, you know, like They're not. No, yeah, there's no way the company is telling them to do certain storylines There's just no way I because because we've never we've never heard of Dana White saying that TKO is asking them to, Hey, you got to have this guy fight this guy. I've never heard of that No. ye, I don't think so. I do Since like WE's could be in a more controlled environment, I'm sure like they're like, well, why isn't Pat McAfee involved in Wrestle Mane? Why Why can't we get him involved in? Oh, sure, sure. But that's when you go like, all right, let's put him in a match in the Damian Pri spot, you know, like It doesn't mean you go, oh he's got to be in the Cody Randy match or o, okay, he's got to be in the Cody Randy match and then you fucking figure it out. you know, you don't do that But here is an aspect too is Ari Emmanuel who owns Endeavor TKO or whatever. he's like wanted, I think you guys talked about this on the show previously, but like he wanted Pat M back for you to be an ex Syvestter stalone. And so I saw that. Yeah. I could definitely kind of maybe seeing him like I want Pat McCAfee involved in WrestleMania in a big way and you have to utilize him in that. And I can see that coming into play because I mean, if you go back a couple years, you know, after Vince got booted You know, what Aple H was doing for W was consistent steady storytelling. that was pretty engaging from an overall product, I thought And so what happened in in between there that it just falls off the rails and thingsings feel so disorganized and you got people like Rod Dog and everybody else kind of leaving too and like and you're replacing everybody. So I don't know. I think I do think TKO kind of dabbles a little bit in a lot of ways. Yeah I mean, yeah, I guess it's possible. I will not I will not say it's not possible I just think, you know, if you're like, If you're handed something, you know I mean, it's the make lemonade eleit, you know, like h right. it's There is a way to like, okay, we're going to make this good And dude, I'll be honest, like especially the way that tririple H like posts the whole entrance like he is so good as an entrance. whereere I'm like, do you only care about like these little spectacle aspects Because even if you look back at like, I mean, his career, he always had like banger entrances, you know, every WrestleMania, it was like a whole ass thing and And then you seem like working on Penta's entrance, working on this person's entrance. Oh, you're going to stand here and then the light is going to do this. It's like He's so in love with an aspect of it isn't the most important part of it. No, that's a true that's a true point, I think too, because yeah, you see how how invested he gets into all that stuff. likeike yeah, we saw that footage of him orrchestrating Penta's entrance and You know, his entrances back in the day two were all very big in spectacle one knes into, you know, k And the entrances are great. Yeah, they're great entrances. It's just like That I really actually like you. Right. And then every time he's asked about like the writing of it all, he's like, I just wish peopleeople could sit down and have fun watching it. just have some fun and it's like Yeah, we're trying to, dude We're working on it.. He's so dismissive of like the writing part of it. It's always just like Yeah, you guys just, you know You guys don't understand silly. It's like, what? Yeah I'm curious why I like Hayan's not more I'm sure he's involved to a great extent, but you'd think maybe help appoint some people or I don't know. You'd just think there'd be a little bit more structured to what they're doing, but apparently there is Yeah, I think he's making like because again, I don't even know what Heayman's kind of like what is this what is he contracted to do with them right know? Yeah, Is he just on air kind of? Yeah I don't I don't even know But it feels like he is being paid all of the month Right. I would assume on some level he's being paid to be like a consultant for all of it. I would hope. you know, on some level, like, hey, look over everything and see if we need like that's what his role should be. Yeah. likeike hey, we pay you to give us suggestions. We might not use them, but thank you Yeah, absutely But if he's just being paid to be like on camera That is that is very fun Yeah, that's that's an under utilization of talent there Oh yeah, well if it really felt like u even before Vince left, it felt like tririple H knew like oh Heyman is Cayman's the guy who gets it And I feel like they do have a good relationship clearly Yeah. Oh, no doubt about it. Oh yeah, they definitely told each other like let's let's get the bag, you know, likeike let's make some money together Yeah Oh ye, for sure becausecause he and again, he's so loyal and he's a guy that and Roberts mentioned it, like there was a moment where he could have bought TNA. He's certainly someone that I mean, anyone would use if he left the WWE you might see some rich guy start a company and then the advisor is Heyman. likeike that's how You know, that's how in demand he is in terms of a wrestling Yeah, and that was and that's just so funny because it's like that's what people have been wanting for years on end. Let's get Hayman in control of the wrestling company again And, you know, we got the T's of it with T andA And then yeah, how much creative influence has he had on WE over these past several years? but It's just like, rightight or did he lose it, right? Like that's the other question because we do not know what his input is. Right? They're very quiet on it Mhm And it doesn't And it doesn't S, no, that's all right. It doesn't seem like like so many people have you know a huge amount of influence because like of a road doog co writer for Smackown had, you know, he was out there with the other guy and He was creatively frustrated with what was going on decided to take a backseat to it all. So it's just Py. Where do you fall out, you know in regards to Yeahah, I think to your point, like Tpleoych does obviously have the final say But like how much of it gets filtered through or it's just a strange, confusing structure. No, no, yeah, I strong agree Yeah But I think that's kind of intentional. I don't think they want anybody to know who comes up with the ideas because they don't want to be yell at. Yeah No So it's like, oh, it's a coalition of all these minds and it's like N, someone has final say And he should be getting yelled at by TKO Yeah And again, like they could de again, I really I do think two nights of Sumerslland, Th those are two Those are two big main events I And yeah, look, we wanted the whole Ober championship thing, but Now, whatever paper review he does decide to challenge for it, like that's a big deal payerview and everyone's going to come out and everyone's going to watch. Mhm So it's fair. like it does make sense in terms of like, hey, we just want people to spend money on our product. like, o, okay, push it back. F open a hell in a cell is worth it. Push it back And then but where would you push it back to? Oh my Godd. Like I said, I think I mean It wouldn't make any sense then from how you're presenting it, But I would do it like I said, like the next night on Rw or like the week after something that. I think isn't there like, I think there's like a Saturdayight's Main event coming up I don't even know if that would be the best way to present it either. I would do it on a raw at the garden at the garden. Yeah. Yeah. I think I would do it on a raw either way, but like
