I bet you have. but have you heard that copper peptides are the queen of skin peptides? Maybe not. So let me tell you, this is one of those non negotiables in my skincare routine now right up there with retinol and vitamin C. And copper peptides are also called GHKCU and they're in a league all of their own when it comes to skin repair and regeneration. And I've been testing out Vitali's medical grade copper peptide serum on both my face and my fresh scars from my most recent hip replacement. And guess what I only used it on one of my scars because I had two hip replacements and I had did this as a test. And three months later, the difference is clear. There's smoother texture, better color, and a noticeable improvement in how the skin feels and how that scar feels And that's because copper peptides actually help remodel the skin and they boost the collagen, increase skin thickness, promote new blood vessels, and even helped remove damaged tissue. And that makes space for healthy, vibrant skin to form. And what's really cool about GHKCU is that it doesn't just work on scars. It helps rejuvenate the skin by recharging our stem cells and activating something called P sixty three, which is a protein that keeps our cells youthful And most copper peptides out there They have me be half a percent, Ay one percent, but Vitalis serums are formulated at two percent and three percent. and that makes a huge difference in real results. So whether you've got fresh scars, old ones or just want to boost your glow and firmness, this stuff is a total game changer and I saw the results myself. My skin looked tighter, bouncier, and more hydrated. and it gave me that rare wow factor from the very first use. So now I understand why all my biiking besties are raving about it So here's the scoop. Vitali is giving us an exclusive twenty percent off. So just go to vitaliskincare. com and use the code Zora at checkout. That's V I a Li Ski Nc a R E. com and use the code Zora Z R A Have you heard of biodentistry three point zero? It's not biological dentistry. That's like old school. This is something deeper, something newer. And Dr. Dom Nishwitz explains it all. and he shares why the root cause of some Things like inflammation and brain fog and overall dysfunction sometimes starts in our mouth in our microbiome in the mouth. and he explains how root canals and fillings and cavitations can completely disrupt our hormones, making menopause harder than it needs to be. So I went off in a lot of tangents here and I was really, you know I completely did not follow my notes so my question was bland. When you interview guests who have been on multiple times and you have a connection with them and they're fun and they're easy to talk to and they're open minded, you just let it roll wherever it wants to go. and was really surprised on how he answered my question about those, you know, those little insuincy teeny bottle cleaner type picks for your teeth. I love those. It was really interesting what he said about it. So we get practical here too. So I want you to enjoy this conversation and before we do Please can I just beg you and plead you to wrate and review this show? I know I say this all the time. And I've made you if you haven't noticed, I made my intros like super short now. I don't read the bio. The bio is in the show notes. And I w to leave more time for you to listen to things that are important. Part of the deal is if we could please just like pause for a second, rate the show, like give it some stars, hopefully fifteen or ten or you know, at worst five, whatever it is that you want, even if you have something that's not nice to say, I need to hear it because I need to improve the show if you're not happy with it. And also just one little sentence, one little title, it takes two minutes. Also while you're there, if you want to subscribe to the show, that is a great way to also get notified of the new episodes that are coming out so you don't miss a thing. My guests are so I'm even amazed myself. L how do I get these gusts?ike They're incredible. I love them. loveo them all. And if you like this episode and you're concerned about your oral health and the mouth, please, share it with somebody who needs to hear it. Share it with your dentist. Share it with like the traditional dentists who don't know anything about this or are a little skeptical about it, or who want to up their game into biodentistry three point zero But you're going to learn that in just a second. Please share it. It takes just a moment to do that Also, if you want to learn more about what's going on in the menopause community, go to the newsletter. just it's on the website haackmge. com or in the show notes here. And I do get women are who love it. and they actually I've been asking their opinion because I've been streamlining it. It's so short now And it really has just bullet points on many things that you can if you want to open it up, you go open it up and go somewhere else. You don't have to like scroll through this really long winded AI generated thing. this is human, this is me writing it. I've got mistakes.'t just I'm just human here But I do want to sound more human, which is what the game is for me. But go check out the newsletter. It's in the show notes as well. And I had some women reach out to me who say they really like the new format and they don't want to be on social media, they don't subscribe to any podcasts. and that's how they get notified. They really get it all in their inbox. They prefer that. So if you're someone like that Go check out the newsletter. Link is that in the show notes. And the YouTube as well is so cool. I listen to all my podcast episodes now on YouTube And I think they're just a fabulous place to see our guests in person. I just like that. I'm not like actually watching the whole thing, but I'm also you know cooking or doing something else while I'm kind of looking back and forth at the screen because sometimes there's things that pop up. And that's what I'm trying to get down for you too as well, like a little fact checker or a little description of some big word that somebody said that we don't want to interrupt gu and explain it all, but it is really important to understand those definitions sometimes. So I'm working on that. so that's only going to be on YouTube. Go check it out, hack my age on YouTube or link in the show notes. And I would love for you to join us in the Biohacky Menopause membership group be like, what is this? I don't know. it's a community. We have challenges to get you build healthy habits. We reverse your menopause symptoms, whatever they are, we're going to hack them. And so we have wonderful supportive community. so much in there. Every time I ask the girls like how do I get more members in here? Because we're still super small. And that's what kind of the beauty is is that you get only attention. And they just like what they tell me is that We had no idea how much was in here. So I've been pretty bad, I guess, somehow trying to get the information to you, what's in here But I just I don't know how to explain it. It's just an amazing group. So go check it out. It's very intimate, it's very private, and it's very personal. And literally we have like five people showing up to our live Qs. Of course, people look at the replays and things like that. if you can't show up live but it is such a tight community and you will get your questions answered. Because menopause is inevitable But suffering is optional All right, well, it's a real pleasure to have dor. Dom Nishchwitz on the show again. Welcome Thank you so much, Zora for having me Yeah, I know, we got into the awkward, hey, just start the show ' I do the intro later You're probably like Yeah. I usually warn our guests like, okay, I'm gonna to get into this awkward like welcome to show because we don't have time for me to do this long intro, which I will do later on. No worsh, it's been more than a minute since I last saw you and we had a recording in twenty twenty two which is like, yeah, four years ago, actually in March. So it's exactly like four years ago. raz It's been too long. and I'm gonna direct people to that first episode we did because it was It blew my mind. because I heard you speak and I was introduced to you Where did it was I introduced you to you? I guess it was in London, I think, at the Pepide confonference Was that a peeptchon? It could have been a health summit but maybe Pptt I think it was the first and then I saw you. And I get to see you at all the other conferences. It's really fun. You have so much information. and I'm going want to dive into our mouth and our microbiome and our mouths and our teeth and all these things that we need to know in midlife and how this is affecting not only a menopausal woman, but maybe her children. L I have called you, Dums.ike what do I do with my kids? How do I make a decision? And you're there to help me. So maybe we'll get some tips out there for your kids as well. But let's start with what has changed the last four years with biological dentistry and maybe explain to somebody what biological dentistry is and how it's different than your average dentist. So what has changed? Essentially what I'm right now working on So biological dentistry Unfortunately these days doesn't really mean anything. And this is something I Reized more and more over the past five years actually It's becoming a Marketing term, a buzword, such as longevity actually. So holistic, biological, longevity, Th those are the buzwords Conscious of me trailblazing this movement. so biological dentistry at the beginning was Kind of like this mindset that Conventioncial dent is, we are just repair guys. We're repairing teeth Essentially you're looking for holes and fixing holes. Pretty boring, right So the teeth out a garage and maybe The repair business got hijacked by cosmetics a little bit. So that's conventional dentistry. I refer to conventional dentistry. This is stuff you learn in university as dentistry one point zero. Biological dentistry is what I refer to as dentistry two point zero is essentially doing highigh level repair work But with material That is more biocompatible. So we look different at let's say metals or root canals or cavitations. However, what we do over the time and what I'm doing right now what has crystallized over the last four years is what is necessary is that if we I'm defining a global standard for biological and industry, which I call the BGS The Biden industry global standard I'm teaching a concept called biodentistry three point zero not one point zero nor two point zero three point zero. And what this essentially is The future of our profession as an nent is because we're upgrading from a technician to a health expert And this means in essence that we of course do the high level high tech craftsmanship with the best possible materials. So of course we do digital dentistry. off course we do ceramic and lentology. Of course we take care of cvitations, use the nitty gritty technical side of things that is available to us. But it has never changed in my system, but it's where I'm clearer in the messaging We're melting it with functional medicine, health optimization and actually longevity to make one big piece out of it We start optimizing your health from the mouth which is the entrance to the body. So essentially we're just putting the mouth back into your system And for teaching this to dentists as well as the mainstream, this is where my Obviously my main focus is on because I'm educating dentists on a global scale more than a decade, but for the last four years, I opened The Bideny Global Stard, the BGS Institute We're now more we have more than one hundred certified real biodentists. That's how I call this community, real biodentists Which do the concept of fred industry three point zero which is Letsally a new category in dentistry. So biological dentistry, I hope I explained it right. It doesn't really mean anything. This is why we usually have to refer to people that are in the certification process or do what we do which is what you already know what I do, right? melting it all together, having a complete wellness center in Tubinghan in my hometown. where people come in for a full on week. to optimize the health starting from the mouth. meelting it all, high tech craftsmanship with longevity. you say hyperaric oxygen, IVs, red light, peptides, all the stuff you're talking about. into one complex complete system enables patients out there to get rid of past dental repair withithin a two phase approach, meaning, Once you apply to become a patient, we look at past dental history of yours. You know how I'm just summarizing what we talked about the last time. Yeah So you essentially send in a panoramic x ray because Let's face it Dentistry is a repair business. So over the past, most of your listeners most likely have been to the dentist. So the question I'm usually asking is are there any metals in the mouth, root canals, or removed wisdom teeth leading to cavitations? So what we do is get this whole concept be like the architect for your system and optimize this in two phases. Phase onene would be repairing plast standard repair biom materials in one health optimization a week Let this heal for the next four or six months. and in phase two, you come back for the stuff you see, the health, the aesthetics, the bite, the function And essentially after this part We never want to see you again, quote unquote for dental repair. So it is completely the opposite to what's out there as the normal dentist or even the biological dentist. It's a one stop overall I saving your life from dentist approach. Okay, so we got the dentistry one point zero is what we've all probably been to at some point. The dentistry two point zero, which was the biological industry essentially industry. but it's the problem with this is s biological industry can mean like Nonv can mean any and everything can mean You land with us and you have bienry three point zero, or you can land with someone who has a marketing and there's a biological root canal and place a singing ball right next to it. This is the problem I'm facing. That's why I take responsibility to make sure that you patients are out there and anyone seeks us gets the best possible treatment outcome while We melt everything Yeah. So the three point zero is just next level. but I feel that yes you, you were doing the three point zero. but Ohh yeah, I'm doingving the three point zero for ten years. Yeah because you had the hyperbaric chambers and the red light therapies and you were new about these things and you were applying them It Oh yeah, exactly. Now that's differentiating you from other people just using the terminology biological dentistry. Exactly. And the Bioeny Gobal standard is something I created within the last four years because I realize that people are misusing these terms and there's literally a wild wild west out there. That's the problem. I'm just assuming I'm just thinking about how can we make sure that any patient looking for the best possible treatment can come to see us in the future. has places all over the world that do exactly the same as we do for over a decade. because let's face it, I'm in a very tiny town in Germany Right? Yeah. And people fly into us for over decades. So if this place would be in LA in Dubai in Miami It's a no brainer, but it's not there yet. I'm working on actively scaling this towards there The blueprint is ready, the training, the education is ready. So this all changed, let's say on a bigger scale in the last four years, one hundred percent. Yeah, I'm excited about that. And I think we've learned so much from you in the past. And what you do is so radically different. And we discussed this in the first episode where you showed the O. connection to the rest of your body. And I think if nobody's heard that episode yet, they won't understand why would you use hyperbaric? Why do you use oxygen therapy That made me briefly talk about that connection because what you said, what I learned from you is like it all starts in your mouth. We may have joint pain, we may have fatigue, we may have migraines and have no idea it's related to our mouth. Is that correct That's one hundred percent correct. Yeah, perfect. I think it's great that you asked the question specific to your listeners. Exactly Whatever chronic health issue you're facing, insert open bracket, like you said, the hormones, the joint problems, the mental health issues, the brain fog But the rashes, they could all directly be linked back to Oral health That's why my mission at the beginning was optimal health starts in the mouth, right This is a part and of course, youing a your context is about how to reach optimal health, right? This is still the goal in your show, right? Of course with the main listeners being Female health, is that correct? Exactly. So what is It essentially female health, hormones, all these different things The way to understand is is there is this health bubble out there and I think it got bigger through COVID. Right now we have an information overload. Most listeners find you for some sort of way in their own health journey. That's what I'm assuming. So everyone is learning about The foundations of health from different angles because we have this movement out there. So the foundations of health that are usually taught on social media, on various different podcasts, whatever like specific angle they have is usually Sleep. We have to optimize our sleep, non negotiable. Then it's about nutrition, supplementation, movement, exercise, community Stress management, brain health Mental health. but also obviously outside nature grounding and of course gut health. But the gut starts in the mouth. So the oral health part is still there What I'm seeing in this big demographic is if you want to get the foundations right Beak Let's say train station on your line to optimal health is oral health optimization Unfortunately, oral health optimization is usually skiped because no one teaches you about it. And what happens is, especially if you think about previous dental repair, like the three questions I asked If you have anything in your mouth that is constantly upstream from everything else, blocking your system because the mouth is the entrance to the body. It's an extension of your brain then this might interfere with all the foundations that you're working on. And instead of going to someone trained to do this, most people I see jump straight ahead to more extreme treatments such as hyperbaric oxygen IV therapies, peptides are sexy right now. any sort of supplements And what I'm usually teaching is, hey, if you're trying to optimize everything, but your sleep is still not one hundred percent You still have a little bit of rashes, you still have thyroid issues, you still have hormonal imbalances. Wait a second. mayaybe you're missing The missing link, which is oral health. When we come to oral health, we cannot just look from the outside because finally also within the last four years let's say the bigger voices in health in the health games such as let's say Hubberan. O Brian Johnson actually included oral health into their pillars of health Right? Because they understand oral health, there's no gut healing with oral health, but they only go from surface level, meaning Do you have any bleeding gums or any gum disease or any twoues DK? And how about the oral healthcare strategies? What no one is talking about is Have you had previous dental repair Meaning are you a healthy individual, an unaltered human being? or Most likely, are you an altered human being And this is when you can answer again the questions Do you have any metal in your mouth Ohhead Do you have a root canal in your mouth right now Stand up, remain standing and third question Did they remove yourisom teh And wherever I ask these questions, it could be on a medical podium, could be on a health podium, could be on a dental podium. ninety five percent of the audience stands up. So then you know, o There's upstream of everything we're trying to optimize. There's the missing link. And this is also what I'm teaching on medical conferences for longevity centers such as The bigger ones, right? So bridging the gap for medical and dental, but also upgrading our dental our dental system. That's both angles I'm doing and obviously teaching everyone out there too. So patients as well as professionals for dentists and medicines so that they speak with each other, but also that you as a patient Understand what you're talking about? But also then get the treatment that you needed which is hard to get That did this make sense? You mentioned the word digital dentistry. What is that This is just referring to more, let's say, high tech dentistry because I realize speaking to dentists oftentimes or medical doctors They often focus just on a dental technique. so Digital dentistry is one, let's say high level skill in dentistry meaning instead of just you go to the dentist and we shave down your tears and give you some sort of some sort of crowns. What digital industry means, we can Scan your whole face, match your intraoral scan with your face Design your complete beauty smile function aesthetic backwards digitally and then o to the back layer. What does the dentist in the actual C clinic actually need to do. so maybe not even shaving your teeth if you need real veneers. So that's just high tech skills And what I wanted to refer to is even dental implantology. So if you have lost a tooth, you need a dental implant, right? This is something we talked about in the last episode Most dandal implants are titanium, which is a metal. I'm one of the first ceramic implant specialists. so I've placed more than five thousand ceramic implants in the last fifteen years. and this was long time just for dentists, it's still Science fiction, ninety nine nine nine point nine percent of allentists do a titanium implant. which is a metal and an antenna in your most. Why don't they do the ceramic now? I mean, it's been a while since you've been speaking about it not might be becauses that's a problem. This is what I want to make clear is that There is no standard in dentistry. There is obviously zero standard in biological dentistry And what I want to just bring to the table is you have to be the best of the best in every dental technique in the first place graduated to be called the real Biden andist plus become a health expert and understand all the other things that you guys are talking about anywways, melting this together Why does this take so long in our profession Because why change a running system if something is there for forty years like a titanium implant? Dentists are the last to adopt. They're very, very slow I was heavily critiqued when I wrote my book. It's all in your mouth and this one here, You notice.. This came out in twenty eight, nineteen. I wrote it in seventeen and eighteen And I was heavily criticized for ceramic implants, especially for immediate ceramic implants andcitations, all these things now Since twenty twenty three, this also changed. its's medical guidelines But again, until it's medical guideline and the whole world will know about it, it's gonna to be another twenty years This is how slow The actual adoption of things is. So once ceramic implants are most likely in ninety nine point nine percent of all clinics, we won't even do implants anymore because we figured out how to not lose two in the first place So this is how slow dentistry or medicine in university is. So medical doctors don't know what we're doing. longevity doctors are doing amazing jobs, right? They're trying to optimize the whole body, but they forget the entrance because they're not trained to look there. Conventional dentists are Amazing in repairing your mouth, but do not understand the implications for the whole body. so we have to first speak and this part that for whatever reason got left out of medical school for medical medicine It should be back into the mouth. It should be back into the body. So I was speaking at the Bck Institute for Longevity in December. there was all the professors three day event about longevity, like literally the best people in the world And their goal was to find a standardization too. And like Mayo Clinic, Cleveland, Cedar Sinai, L Li, Shah Institute, all these big names, right And I was there too And I realiz they have the same problem. Longevity is now everyone is opening up a longevity center, right meeans nothing anymore And I realized This is the same problem we have in biologog genenicity, but the same problem is the other problem is we don't talk to each other. So I was able to show them, hey, you're doing such a great work, you're optimizing every variable. But what if upstream of every variable you're optimizing there's previous standard repairs sitting in your mouth quietly hijacking your whole longevity Soay is no longevity without health optimization in the mouth. It's not possible. So therefore, to repair all this, you have to have skills as an dentist And sometimes in my world, I assume every dentist has these skills. I'm sorry they don't. So that's why it's a complete certification process. I'm training the biodentist to become to because I cannot just refer anyone of your listeners to, hey, go to any biological dentist Because it's most likely in eighty or probably ninety plus percent cases not the right experience. So this is what I mean. It's so different. It's literally a new category I created over time in dentistry and like you said it perfect, it's not even against conventional dentistry. It's just the next level. It's the dental evolution. It's not even a revolution. It's just the evolution. And for me, it's a standard that we have to have Perfect craftsman skills. This will never go away because you have to have the repair And my skills where I come from is if I see you as a patient, my goal is that you have a non traumatic experience that whatever I have to do in your mouth, whatever surgeries, you almost have zero pain, zero swelling which is a different layer to it. And of course, you stay for a whole week. We do hyperbarinic IV, but red light las in the ves, you know, everything we do. this is just a cherry on top. But for us surgery doesn't start in room in a dental appointment. You will start a month prior with the right lifestyle and nutritional advisices So once you come in, you're in a healing mode. So it's a complete different approach to how you heal and how you invest in health. And this is like I said, people flying in for the whole Ily let I see someone in Germany, just say this. That's interesting. It right inssane how You have a perioperative care, which I think every single surgery because this is what you're doing. you're drilling t things out and putting things in and you need bone to grow and you need to heal and you need all these things. And then sadly, like when I got my two hip replacements in Spain, I was told nothing about healing or repair. I had all my regenerative medicine doctors help me through this and create a perioperative program for me, which I think is absolutely essential going into any kind of a treatment, whether it's a dental or if it's a surgery You got to repair. And so your chances of recovery and recovering quickly obviously are much greater and having because I've heard so many horror stories of people going to dentists and then things go wrong and it didn't do it right. And that's a that's nobody wants that. and that's why people are afraid of going to the dentist sometimes Hey, biohcking Bestie. If you're in the thick of menopause and struggling to get your hands on hormones and wait no more. I've got something you're going to love My Menno bestie, Karen Martell, has created a line of safe, effective, bioidentical Hormone creams I use them myself in addition to my prescribed ones. She's got both estrogen and progesterone. Her estro two Rejuvenate is what I use on my face. It's way better than using your vaginal estrogen in there. Please stop doing that And then when I run out of my prescription of Eestroadial, I use her estro vitality until I can get a refill. It's clean and it lasts forever. While you will find a ton of progesterone creams online, I only trust a handful out there. and Karen's Pges C is one of the best. and I use it in addition to my oral progesterone because it gives me gives me more control to dial in an extra little dose when I need it. Maybe just an extra full pump or two, maybe half a pump, or even a little smidge depending on what I feel that I need. And these creams are made in the U. S. in a kosher and FDA inspected facility they're free from fillers and toxins, and theyve just so packed with skin loving ingredients like vitamin E, aloe vera, sheia butter, coconut and olive oil. And my compounded and FDA approved estrogen doesn't have that So if your doctor won't talk to you about hormones, then Karen's got a team of doctors who will and can guide you with your order. So go to Karenmartel. com, use the code Zora, ZRA for ten percent off and just start taking control of your hormone health on your terms Exactly this is it and this is also something I thought about more and more because I'm living in a bubble obviously. I'm doing this for such a long time and it's just standard for us. Every single patient will tell you I had such a past traumatic experience in various dentists and I'm so afraid, that's how they all come in So they're quite anxious So some of them are not even interested in the health benefits that we're working on, but when they come out of this treatment that we're doing this one week every single person is like This is just unbelievable the opportunity cost to flying to you to not look like Rocky Balboa, hit your face and you're like on liquid diet for two weeks after taking out W some teeth or implants or root canals is easily offset And then the health benefits that we also obviously do have all the time are the cherry on top for them For me personally in university For first principle, thinking I was missing something in the industry because I was always good with my hands. I had no issue here I was missing the part that I can be a real doctor and can guide my patients to overall health. Bao being at the in the clinic doing my dental work. And this is what I created over the last twenty years. a new category because essentially, I was never a dentist. I'm literally More like a health expert with let's say the luxury that I became world champion in doing the surgeries over time which is now very good at educating and everything. but my goal is just literally I have this Inner feeling, I want to have create museum of life moments with every single patient that comes to us in a positive way, not in like a traumatic way, but in the opposite that they will remember when we were one hundred twenty years old This was a missing link for my health journey And this is how we did it, and it's an amazing relationship experience. that's how we approach patients. So everyone is there with us for a week and even prepaare up frront So it's not like your normal dental appointment just to get you give you a little reference. normal patients go to a dental appointment They go there in traffic, they wait in the waiting room, then they get called up and they get the injection and they get the procedure and that's it. So for us, you prepare getet a complete treatment plan for everything that we want to do for the rest of your life Once you're prepared systemically with bone heating because that's exactly what you said, every surgeon should do this and I'm training everyone with this Once you come in, we have everything on site to do this treatment In one go, like essentially remodeling your house, right T out a couple of it's analogy. taking out a couple of old walls, a little bit of asbestos, a little bit of mold, right? And installing new walls. Yeah. But making and in this phase, our goal is no pain, no swelling. That means zero cuts. Sarless surgeries, taking oureth without any pain anywone. That's possible. But of course, that's only possible if you know the procedures, the skills the protocol And then once you leave after the week or seven days, you have a plan. You are empowered as a patient to be architect of your own health for the next four to six months. And this is when the magic happens. So that biggest detox happens in the first week. we take out all the crap that your body can't deal with, right? Instantly your body goes into healing mode You will know what to eat, what you do, what you supplement with so that you really heal because you are the healer, right? I'm not the healer. I'm just empowering your body to heal. And then once you come back for the phase where we just restore and make the aesthetic and the smile Usually what patients tell you is I've lost ten kilogos of body fat, gained five kilos of muscle. I have lost all many of my mental health issues, mayaybe eighty percent is gone, maybe a hundred, no more joint health problems. gut issues are gone, skin is completely different. XY Z and by the way, they also placed amazing healthy teeth So that was that is for me the fulfilling part where I get goosebumps every single time. if you have a patient that suffered for thirty years, let's say with chronic migraine And they come back four months later, you didn't even know about it. And they come four months later and tell you, Hey, Dom I'm fifty three years old now Ever since I saw you five months ago I have no migraine, and I suffered three migraines per week since I was eighteen that That gives you goosebumps This is what is the upgrade from the dentist, technician to the health expert. And actually in university in Germany you graduate as a San Atsz, that's a German word. Sanz means translated tooth doctor But somewhere along the line we just prepared guys, so we have to just become the doctor again the oral physician. And if you understand all these complex pathways, this is why this is why I'm standing on panels with the leading brain health expert and teaching together how the mouth is an extension of your brain and why he has to implement this teaching in his thought processes Why? Because I understand all these things because I've been doing this for twenty years now And I just needed to become and health experts I'm today that that I needed me personally, I needed this when I was twenty years old when I had my health issues and no one help was helping me back then. So I had this moral obligation and kind of like intrinsic motivation. But it's just a fun journey and the main the best thing about it is again, I just love people, I love The relationships that I'm building with the patients and my whole team is obviously an extended family. I also love to educate and create the community of the real biod dentist that reflect my thought processes, which is healing helping patients heal, being non traumatic, using the protocols and systemizing it all. That's just my creative visionary spirit behind me It sounds like a big commercial for the Institute of Biological Dentistry. So let's wrap it in because this is the point is to show I think what you and I've really explained now is there exists something else. A lot of people don't even know. what you're doing is so amazing and you're so passionate about it. It's why I still love what you do. And you're so next level, but I don't want people to think like, oh, this is f you're trying to help and you're trying to get other doctors trained in this, which hopefully we will have more. But I'm hopefully the person who's listening now is open their eyes like, oh my gosh, I had no idea this existed. and now you know But I want to go in a little deeper and talk a little bit about the problems that you may be seeing with a menopausal woman coming in Oh yeah, awesome. And yeah, so she's got hormones all over the place. She's paramenopausal, maybe forty five, fifty And the migraine thing is interesting. And when you're speaking, I'm always thinking, yeah, the mouth is so close to the brain. and this makes perfect sense too. So perhaps you can explain What is that connection between a migraine or any other menopausal symptom, you can take your choice and the oral microbiome? How would you help that woman if she comes into your clinic Okay, let's assume the woman is optimized on every other level, right Okay whatever exam whatever it doest matter. So if actually I have many menopausal women coming into my clinic because that's usually when we start break time. Yeah, but also because unfortunately because of the age right now let's say from now forty five to fifty five years old is when you also had a lot of previous dental repair for old school dentistry. aect. So How Why are your teeth so important or what we do with your teeth? Your teeth are literally an extension of your brain. So we're working on a brain nerve The mouth is Kind of like the external hard drive You could say Most of the stuff that you feel and experience is bodilyess symptoms that are, let's say that the brain picks up and reflects to you, right And whatever is happening, for example, in your body with the hormones or whatever issues youre right now having. Rich is always the mouth and the ggeenital nerve transporting this information back to the brain. So let's assume You have any ongoing chronic silent inflammation and infection in your jawbone that doesn't hurt that no one feels This is here at the end of the nerve called trigeminisus lookook at it up If it's here, it gets directly transported back to your brain on a daily basis, activating stressing your autonomic nervous system, parasympathetic, sympathetic nervous system. You might heard of this. It goes into ganga, pituitary hypothalamus, which is the control station of all the hormones in your body So if this one here is a chronic stress, your body will produce stress B usually does it by raising catecholamines, adrenaline, cortisol, or epinephrine and all these different things. So what if youre trying to optimize your female sexual hormones, which are secondary to the cortisop probe So if you have chronic ongoing stress, your adrenal glands burn out becausecause you have something silently hijacking you, which is the m as no one sees. What does happen with your hormones afterward? you understanding what I mean optimizing your hormones externally on a software on a hardware that is internally wrong might be not the right timing. So you have to first understand what is causing chronic stress in your body. Yeah, Of course, it can be the sleep, it can be the nutrition, it can be supplements, It can be all these different things. But the one thing no one's looking at is actually what's in your mouth So now think back, okay, I have these menopausal syndromes. I tryed to optimize everything. I'm even on HRT, right? But I'm still not good. I'm still getting no deep sleep. I still have mental health issues. I still can't concentrate. So It's so intrinsically connected to your brain that we have to literally address it at one point because it could literally be that you have one chronically infected root canal treated tooth That is the splinter or the circuit breaker of the whole system that you have to take out before your body is able to recover overall Because again, in this whole system of electricity The circuit breaker might be in the mouth and this is very close to the brain. That's what I meant by upstream of every variable you're trying to optimize a menopause, there might be something in your mouth holding you back. And this is usually previous standard repair. I remember I asked you the question, I think you had nothing anymore besides maybe remove whisom teeth, right? Yeah For me personally, yeah, yeah, but I still want to ask you about all those other things. But you still have the wisdom teeth removed, right? I had the wisdom teeth removed. Yeah, and I got two hipl implants. So now I got metal in my hips, which I thought of you when I was told this, I was like, oh no, Don said no metal in the body. I mean, I mean there's a trade off because of course you don't have the option right now. I think metal hips is There are no ceramic hips yet However Let's say ceramic anditanium. That's At least at least a mix. Yeah, it's a mix. But for example, why am I asking the question with the wisdom toothh? Because almost everyone has the wisdom teeth removed because of spacing issues So what happens is because the body wasn't prepared and you most likely looked like roockby Bo I hit your face for two weeks, liquid died only after removing wisdom teeth You systemically were not able to heal that bone. And what happens in the long time is that this construction site here never heals. So you get another silent inflammation and infection site in your jaw bone. That's referred to as Cavitations in layman's term And cvitations harbor viruses, parasites, fungi, lye spereds And those are all connected again to mental health issues and menopausal syndromes and hormonal issues and skin issues. You see the point what I'm making is, hey, on your journey to optimal health, of course you need to work with a longevity specialist. But you also need a real bientist that also understands longevity and will be plugged in at the right timeing to optimize you. because maybe what if your wisdom teese sites are still ongoingly stress in your body and you're trying to hack it with peptides with this this to wasn andt a supplement, you wouldn't even need it But you don't know, obviously. But this is I think this is something I already talked to you about back then. How does somebody know if they have I answered this in the first episode, but just to reiterate, how does somebody's listening now go, okay, how do I know if the root cause is in my mouth? What do they do? It's actually very simple. You ask yourself theseions if you don't know, but usually you know, have you had any metal in the mouth? Just ask this question Have you ever had a root canal? Most people know it's a very traumatic experience because you were in pain and the dentist helped you out of it. And have you had your wisdom T tears room? If any of the answers is a yes, then you have room for health optimization Big time Because these things are root causes that no one's talking about because they're usually silent, they don't do any harm, they're not painful, but might be the silent contributor to your eczema. To your menopausal issues, to your hormonal issues, to your mental state, to your depression, Do everything, just open insert bracket. That's what I mean So you don't really need to be too complicated about it. That's why what we do is remotely check scans of patients. So once you apply to become a patient in our clinic You have to send in just a current two dimensional x ray. It's called a panoramic x ray, where you can see at one glance in a second, oh yeah, all previous stand repair. And then we design a complete xture of the remodeling of your oral situation, of course, healthy and aesthetic. And then You will understand what is needed for this kind of investment to do and that it is even possible. I think where we' at right now, unfortunately is still People just don't know People just don't know that this is existing you cannot understand I'm considered one of the global leaders in biological indistry You still don't notice people don't come through me through social media, even though I have a big channel There are more and more people listening to this in social media, but I'm still based on word of mouth mainly. And I ask every single patient, how did you find us And sometimes they find us randomly as some doctor knows about me, He hasn't even been there, but knows we're doing a great job and people have good experience. and then they refer to us So I'm still thinking, wow, how can I get this information out there to the masses You see I try to do this on a daily basis on Instagram, on various platforms. But in the grand scheme of things We are still doing pioneers' work, unfortunately, St still I calculated it It still zero point zero zero zero, one percent of all dentists understand what I'm saying So The chances that you listen to this and hear is actually also obviously amazing from the universe that you get this information But that you then can find someone doing this the way we do for you is quite low This is why obviously I have this calling to Of course, right now the place is existing, you can just all fly income in not a problem at all, right? But of course, you understand now I have to be makeake sure for the future that first of all, we create places all over the world where this is possible Of course, in the long run The idea is to teach everyone that becomes a mom and gets pregnant first before they even conceive how to optimize everything. so you never need to see a dentist for your kid in the future That would be the goal, but right now there's so many menop polose of women and midlife men that had so much dent to repair, unfortunately we still have to repair this right now. So not right now we still are in the repair business, but in the next level phase of it. gradually moving from a technician to the health expert. But of course, you understand. Al also what I'm saying most dentists don't understand. That's why I ha the course to give them the same off software updates so we can even talk to each other. because this is nothing you learn in university Or even if they may kind of understand, they don't know what to do after. So for example, just a couple weeks ago I went with my husband to just get a cleaning and I told the dentist, who's actually a friend of ours, and I said, you know husband has kind of Breath is kind of bad. Maybe he's got like it's a new thing. I said, mayaybe it's perimenopause. L I was very honest. I was like, it could be me. Or if you detect something, tell me what you think So we said actually the Bad breath is cs in the gut And that's a gut thing, not so necessarily a mouth thing. And then I said, okay, well then that was it. conversation at it. Now I'm like, okay, now I have to go find a gut specialist, but I imagine if they saw you, it would be a different conversation Oh yeah, one hundredcent That's just an excuse The mouth is the entrance to the gut. The mouth is the gut, right? So his question, his answer was not really correct. Yes, of course it can come from the gut. You know if someone doing keto diets, they usually have a whel breath However, number one Let's just apply First principle thinking, the most logic consequence is A, it's from the mouth, right? That's where the bad breath comes out of it. So what we would do is let's just go with stuff that for someone who has healthy teeth Apply something like copper tongue scraping and let's say tongue scraping, justust scraping your tongue on does your husband do that? No, but I do and I bought him one. he doesn't use it. Implement this is a ten second strategy every single morning just do this tong scraping. This will help against bad breath one hundred percent Theen next thing is, what are you brushing your teeth with? Are you brushing your teeth with a normal conventional toothpaste that is designed to disinfect and kill your a good microbiome over the long run? Aually leaving you with bad breath because microbiome is important for a good breath. Yeah. He doesn't like how much I spent on toothpaste. So he uses the regular. So you know that you know that this is also something that happened in the last four years. I also brought out my own toothpaste because this was the most asked question for me was like, Domy which doror Domy, which toothpaste do you recommend None, usually. So I've designed a toothpaste, is a supplement that you can actually eat for me and my kids that they can eat it because kids eat toothpaste. I did it too. and then they will eat fluoride and fluoride is a neurotoxin if you eat too much of it. Yeah. tellell me what toothpaste you made a toothpaste. You have a brand. In Europe it's called M than a toothpaste from my company sububst nutrition and it's essentially a supplement has zero chemicals involved that are like toxic for your body. Of course, we not just go fluoride free because fluoride has some sort of benefits, right? It is protecting the teeth. The natural alternative to fluoride is having hydroxy appetite in a toothpaste. That is the mineral the tooth is made out of anyways. So of course, my toothpace has hydroxy appete in and it is l lactopferin for the gums, you will know It has a specific probiotic and probiotic in there so. It's just designed to stay on your teeth and to be edible. So essentially instead of a normal convental toothpace, which says if you accidentally swallowed too much, call poison control. You can actually eat it Or at least only spit it out, you don't have to really rinse it because I want you to have to twooth space sitting on your teeth So you don't have to brush your teeth. You just chew this thing? No No, no, you brush your teeth, but usually after brushing your teeth with a conventional toothpaste, you' advised to spit out and rinse out and get all the shit out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. becausecause it's very toxic stuff. It says have you ever looked at like a conventional toothpaste backag label? Yeah. It says in America at least, if it's accidentally swallowed called poison control. Yeah yeah So why should we put something in our mouth where we accidentally could swallow too much that we then call poison rorol. That is not first principle of thinking So What I say is, of course you brush your teeth with it twice a day is enough and then you let it sit on your teeth. You can spit it out, of course, but let the rest sit on your teeth because the enamel, the outside part of your teeth will absorb the minerals and the hydroxyapetate on your teeth. That's what I'm saying. And also your gums should absorb the stuff that's in there because it's kind of like a supplement Yeah. and it will be able in America if your audience is also obviously everywhere. May fourth. Oh So where do they go to get that more than a toothpaste d. com or It's going to be no mod than toothpaste is a label. in Europe, the company is okay, I mentioned the l. Yeah yeah, please I'm fiting it. In Europe, my supplement company is there for since twenty fourteen. it's called Sbs nutrition SUPZ, like Z Zora. Sbs nutrition And the American brand is called sububstantial. So SUPC, again, but Anial like sububstantial D is always follow me on Instagram and I'm always directing people there. But it's going to launch America soon Finally it took a while because most of it is produced in Europe actually and we have to ship it to America to package it there. becausecause we have specific patented version of how to Surface activate the hydroxy appetite a specific spore biotic There's immune modulating in your mouth. it's not killing anything. It's just balancing the ecosystem. Yeah. So I'm all about not killing anything. We have a little syltool in it, but in milligrams, like no not milligrams, micrograms, very tiny amounts. But syltool is evidently good for your teeth, right Isn't that they Cyltone in microdoses, I' of the belief that it's very healthy for your mouth and very modulating. However, in all the keto products and when they use sugar alcohols in grams. becausecause they're also antimicrobial, they will then rack your gut health. So you have to be aware of the nuance in this discussion. But yeah, for Tpace, I would always look into cytol having it in it' bird sugar, essentially. Yeah. So yeah, more than a two space. This is how it's going to look like in America. So I just have it green bottle. Yeahah doesn't focus. Yeah. o okay. Oh it doesn't look Substantial bottle more than a two sp Yeah, we it's called an Aless tube. so we thought about how to get it outdate. You could actually also refill. Ohool L like a lightsaber So I thought about how could we make this a bit more appealing? so it just stands there Yeah and then you just get it out there. Yeah. Oh, that's cool. Okaykay. I want some of that. where are you right now in Europe ago Yeah, so I can just send you the German one, the European one. Yay, Yay, let me try it. And then of course just send me share the address on Whatssoever, and I'll send you some. Okay I of course you will love it. I interrupted you because I got so distracted by this toothpaste thing Oh yeah, of yeah, we where about the breath. Yeah so we where about the breath. And then the third thing would be Most people out there using normal toothpaste, so a normal toothpaste could be a contributing factor to bad breath, obviously because it's all about the microbiome. So if you use a conventional toothpaste, such as this one here thenen oftentimes the microbiome actually gets thisbiotic, so the wrong balance because you kill so many of the good bacteria at the same time. Not the good goal. goal is Think ecosystem healthy. Of course your nutrition is important for this And then Number three, many people listening are using still I'm always watching. If I go to supermarket, I'm always observing people And I'm always like, oh shit, why they are going to the oral healthcare line and now picking up the liscerine and all these mouths and I'm like, No, don't do it, don't it I do it. And I'm like,h, shouldould I say something? no, I don't wantan to say something. like But I have this urge inside of me. It's like, No, don't do. Let do it. when I'm thinking, I'm actually thinking Every single supermarket aisle in the whole world It's full of these mouth wasashes. It's cop same with the toothpaste. It' copy paste all over the about. They're the same everywhere So that must be a huge sellout. I' just assuming every people, every person out there uses something like Listerine or Paradontx and all these different brands Those mouthwashes are designed originally to clean a floor. Yeah and they're highly chemical. They're super acidic which actually damages your teeth enamel. that changes your oral microbiome, it kills bacteria It's antimicrobial. It's alcohol based. So you're nuking your oral microbiome on a daily basis For good quick Fresh breath But in the long run, this can make bad breaths. So instead of this J buy yourself a MCT oil or a coconut oil Maybe a good mix out of it Because if you oil pull, that's a classic aatic strategy, you're pulling out toxins and bacteria But usually you do not hurt the innate ecosystem. So Of course, in coconut oil we have little luraic acid so it's antiviral, anticrobial, antaterial, but it's quuite soothing for the gums and very let's say, not harsh. It's more balancing. So I would do this. The only thing with coconut oil pulling or let's just call it oil pulling is Again, you have like your husband, you have to do it. You have to do the tongue scraping. You have to do the old pulling. So to make a strategy out of it, when you wake up, the first ten seconds, do the tongue scraping. use a copper tongue scraper. Then if you want it, just brush your teeth straight away. Why don'? becausecause you don't want to brush your teeth after eating. We can go into. Oh wait, okay. I've been just started doing that after every meal again because no, that's the wrong bological You just told me that. No that's something I wanted to touch on anyway. So first of all, your saliva is the miracle molecule in your mouth, right? And your saliva is naturally there to rebalance your pH. And of course, as menstrual cycles, before menopause your your female body goes through cycles with pH even in the saliva, right? doing your menstrual cycle changes Maybe even after menopause it changes. So oftimes it's a bit more acidic so you're more prone tooth decK. Have to check. However, the saliva is there to reminerize your teeth and rebalance the pH because whatever you eat usually or drink, maybe you have a coffee with it There's a little bit of acidity involved. So let's say your normal pH in the mouth, let's just say it's seven It might drop too fine or below five one five. below five one five, it goes more acidic. That means you your outer part of your teeth, your enamel, gets attacked and you lose a little bit more minerals thateady you re balance. If you now in this let's say more mushy state start brushing. Your teeth are not as coated so it's easier to brush away the outside part versus when you wait thirty minutes to let your saliva rebalance it to your normal neutral pH Then it makes sense to brush your teeth Okay, so I eat my meal and then I wait thirty minutes and then I can brush my teeth Ieally you brush your teeth twice a day, that's enough. Okay, but when I brush my teeth after my meals, I'm so grossed out when I spit it out. I'm like, oh, I had all these things and like I have those like spaces in the gums, like things get trapped and my teeth as I'm aging, I'm losing bone and then you get these gaps that I never had before and my kids are like, bom, you got in your teeth. So that's been going on for the last five, ten years. So I feel like things get trapped. Maybe when you're young, healthy keys that are quite close together as different I agree, I agree. alsoso obviously Could be age related that you have a little bit of bone reduction and therefore gun reduction It's also oftentimes happening because you had previous dent repair, fillings, grounds, all this changes inter dental spacing too. That is all correct What I would rather do instead is like use a toothpick or let's say a water pick or just a simple interdental brush instead of brushing all the time. You don't need to brush you all your teeth just for a little bit that sticks in between. I like those little dental brushes. They're little they're little brushes like little bottle brushes tiny, but they're expensive. Like where do you get them cheap There must be like a I mean, you can use them forever, right? No, I thought we were a disposable. L you get twenty of them in a packet And I asked Chad GPT. I was like, canan I reuse these? And they're like,, it's bacteria breeding ground. You don't really want to use them reuse them. if it's kind of quick in between, fine, but Prove me wrong so I can save some money. Well, maybe I'm the wrong person to ask because I always have this mindset of reusing everything. so I would probably reuse it until It's completely rotten Like by thatad, I don't mean rotten by bacteria, but like Like it looks like a toilet brush att one point it looks like very Yeah, it's all like all over the place. Bistles are going a different. So if the bristles go all over the place, reuse it definitely. But because of a little bit of your own oral microbiome because of course you use it, right Th then you' hopefully going rinse it out. Yeah yeah. Yeah Yeah. thenen it's kind of like clean And the only bacteria that actually should live on there is the microbiome that you anyways have in your mouth. I just think about it logically I don't think you should throw it away every single time. And I personally would probably use one for a week Okay, All right Until they're like completely broken and like all over the place. That's what I would do. Make sure you clean those and rinse those under waterater afterwards so that there is no food on it because of course, food will decompose. But your own little microbiome that sits there S shouldn't be a problem because it's your micbiome. You would think with the toothbrush, that's what we do. We just rinse it off. We don't like Exactly, and you have it for m something. It chang the head at every time The same logic applies exactly. That's actually a better analogy If you have let's say an electic toothbrush, how long do you have this head? Yeah I probably have this at least two months. Yeah. ye Dr. Dahom, I'm gonna have to let you go. I just see my computer flashing for my next meeting. and I have so much fun speaking with you. I think we need part two because I didn't get to the rapid fire and I got more questions. So if you're open to it, let's do another one and I'll let you go now And not always open to anything. I hope yeah, but what would be great actually is After this one, you will hopefully get comments from your listeners, right? Yeah, hopefully. mayaybe encourage them actively to ask the questions that are missing for them or some of them might be interested in coming to see us. I'm sure you have some show notes, how to find us But I think this is how we should use this. This is a digital world right now. So we are having conversation and now millions of people can listen and have new questions. We should explore those new questions. That would be amazing. I'm always open to this.ill That's why I'm there for. I'm not there to sell anything. I'm just bitchy enthusiastic about everything I'm building and helping people. That's the main goal. helpelping as many people as possible in the world to get the information and help, right? Yes. are you are amazing. I love it Thank you, Dr. Dom. I'm going let you go. I have links in the show notes to our first episode as well how to find you. If anybody wants to work with you, the Institute of biologicaldentistry. com and supremeorralhealth. com and that's where you can find some products. I think I'll send you the update of everything. Okay, Sbs nutrition The website, your Instagram, doror Dom what Clinic, etcetera. Yeah'll, exactly. If anyone listens, just go to my Instagram. Dctor DoMi number one Super simple.
